Charity Shots for Charity

On Friday, December 28, The Sports Herald is sponsoring Charity Shots for Charity, a free throw shooting contest for Grant County.

The contest will have two divisions: varsity and open. In the varsity division, two girls and two boys from all seven of the high schools in Grant County will compete.

Any Grant County resident 18 or older can enter the open division and win the title of Grant County’s best free throw shooter. The entry fee is $10, and includes admission to the finals Friday night. The first 50 entrants will receive a James Dean T-shirt. Qualifying for the finals will take place from 5-6 pm at the Grant County Family YMCA. Just fill out the entry form below.


5-6:30 pm–Qualifying for the open division

6:30-7 pm–practice time for all contestants

7 pm–doors open for spectators
