After a slow start, the Taylor Trojans enforced their will in the second half, winning their 12th game of the season with a 68-39 rout of the Concordia University Cardinals.
Both teams came out poorly, scoring a combined 12 points in the first eight minutes of the contest. Taylor was particularly cold from the floor, knocking down just one of their first 12 shots before hitting back-to-back three to close out the first quarter.
The Trojans’ offense was much more efficient in the second quarter, building on their lead to take a nine-point advantage at halftime. Bradbury was a big factor, scoring 18 of her 25 points in the opening two quarters.
Taylor took full control in the third quarter, outscoring Concordia 23-8 behind Becca Buchs three made triples, before coasting in the final stanza to secure their sixth 20-point victory of the season.
As a team, the Trojans shots 40 percent from the floor and 36 percent from beyond the arc, while also dishing out 18 assists.
Bradbury recorded a double-double, collecting 11 rebounds to go along with her 25 points, while Buchs finished with 15 in the Trojans’ victory.
