Coming off two-hard fought losses, the Eastbrook Panthers were able to stop their two-game skid on Saturday morning, recording their fifth win of the season in an 8-0 triumph over the Taylor Titans.
Eastbrook Head Coach Adam Hallis was able to give everyone playing time, and they put together a strong performance. Joseph Kerton-Johnson scored two goals for Eastbrook, while Ben Moser, Seth Strand, Bryan Popoca, Ramzzy Bowser, Elijah Shutt, and Lucas Shilt also recorded tallies for the Panthers. Popoca also picked up three assists in the victory.
“I saw some good things, and then we saw some guys get some minutes and get some experience,” Eastbrook Head Coach Adam Hallis said. “I thought, at points, we moved the ball around well, and we were able to finish today, which was good.”
Heading into their final week of the regular season, Hallis hopes that the momentum from Saturday’s win will carry them the rest of the way.
“With different guys getting goals, hopefully it boosts that confidence and turns it on a little bit,” Hallis said. “We just need to be consistent. We’ve grown, but there is still time to get a little more growth in. There is still time to work out some chemistry.”
