Giants drop fourth straight in loss to Tech

On Friday night, the Marion Giants’ freefall continued. 

Playing against conference foe Indianapolis Arsenal Tech, the Giants fell behind after the first quarter and failed to recover in an 84-61 defeat.

With 3:15 left in the first quarter, Marion trailed just 10-8, but a 13-5 run for the Titans to end the frame gave them a 23-13 lead. Tech increased their advantage to 43-27 at halftime and held that double-digit lead the rest of the way.

JK Thomas finished with 20 points to lead the Giants, while Francesco Boniciolli collected 15 and Jermain Woods added nine.
