The IWU Wildcats and the Point University Skyhawks combined for 17 runs and 32 hits in the first game of the NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round on Monday morning, but the Wildcats came out on the losing end in a 10-7 defeat.
Brady West went 4-for-5 with a home run and two RBI, while Eric Wentz went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple, and three RBI. Steven Busby added an RBI and two runs scored in the loss.
