IWU records 30th victory, sweeps Huntington

IWU’s win streak reached 10 matches on Saturday afternoon, as they recorded their 30th win of the season with a 3-0 triumph over the Huntington Foresters (25-23, 25-14, 25-15).

The Wildcats collected a .313 hitting percentage in the victory, while holding the Foresters to a paltry .093.

“I am proud of our girls and the way they fought today,” IWU Head Coach Candace Moats said. “After a late-night last night, we responded well today. It was a good all-around team win.”

Ana Collar led the offense with 11 kills, while Havyn Gates led the defense with 15 digs. As a team, the Wildcats collected six aces, three of which came from Allison Sparrow.
