IWU’s women’s soccer finish in second place in NCCAA Championship

The season came to a close for the Wildcats on Saturday evening, as they were defeated by Biola University 4-0 in the NCCAA National Championship Finals.

The shutout loss was only the third for the Wildcats this season.

Biola held a huge advantage in shots over IWU, recording 20 shots, which included 11 on goal, while the Wildcats had eight.

After taking a 1-0 lead into halftime, Biola exploded for three goals in the second half, including two by Ashley Ramirez, to secure the victory.

The Wildcats finished the season with a 15-4-3 record.
