Ole Miss tennis wraps up regular season in Concordia Invitational

On Saturday in the Concordia Invitational, the Indians won four of the five positions in the first round and went 1-1 in the second round before the event was called due to inclement weather.

Haleigh Rowley won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 singles against East Noble, while Heidi Rowley had a sweep at No. 2 singles against North Side. Stanley was a 6-3, 6-2 victor at No. 3 singles against Adams Central, while Tignor/Herring used a tiebreaker win in the first set to carry them to a 7-5, 6-4 victory at No. 1 doubles against Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger.

In the second round, Rowley was defeated in a super tiebreaker at No. 2 singles against No. 4 Fort Wayne Canterbury, but Stanley concluded an undefeated regular season with a 3-6, 6-3, 10-7 super tie-break victory at No. 3 singles, also against Canterbury.

The Indians finished the season with a 13-2 record, a Homestead Invitational title, and a CIC championship.
