Panthers defeated by Adams Central in one-sided affair

Looking to carry over their momentum from their big win over Blackford, the Eastbrook Panthers were unable to do so on Thursday evening, falling to the Adams Central Jets by a score of 13-1.

The Panthers struggled in multiple areas, giving up multiple errors, while once again having trouble finding key hits in crucial situations.

“Tonight, we almost converted back to early in the season,” Eastbrook Head Coach Harold Coates said. “We committed at least six errors. We struggled at the plate a little bit. It was just one of those nights that I think you have [sometimes.] We just didn’t play very well.”

Alli Hyatt was 2-for-3 with two singles, while Ariel Duke was 1-for-3 with a run scored. Hyatt started on the mound, giving up three hits, two earned run, and two walks, while Allison Mullenix allowed six hits and four earned runs.
