The Eastbrook Panthers wrapped up a strong week of soccer on Saturday morning, collecting their eighth win of the season in a 3-0 shutout of the Taylor Titans.
It took a few minutes for the Panthers to find their offensive rhythm, but once they did, they were difficult to contain.
“Once we settled down, we settled the ball and found each other,” Eastbrook Head Coach Jamie Hallis said. “I think we played nicely. We had some very nice passes. We had some nice shots. I think once we calmed down and took care of the ball, we did a really good job.”
Furthermore, they were able to play most of their lineup, and the Eastbrook reserves put forth strong performances.
“We were able to get everybody in today during the game as well,” Hallis said. “I felt like the substitutes played very good games.”
Sarah Foulk scored two goals for the Panthers, while sophomore Kendra Edgell picked up her first varsity tally in the victory.
