Panthers remain winless, fade in second half in loss to Bluffton

The Eastbrook Panthers were still searching for their first win heading into last Tuesday evening’s contest against the Bluffton Tigers.

And after the final buzzer, the Panthers left the Panther Den still searching, falling to the Tigers by a score of 53-27.

Eastbrook was in striking distance throughout most of the first half. They trailed 16-9 after the first quarter and were down 25-15 at halftime.

But the Panthers’ offense sputtered in the final two quarters, producing just 12 more points the rest of the way. Bluffton took advantage, building their advantage to 18 after the third quarter before cruising to the 26-point triumph.

Final stats were not readily made available.
