While the effort was much improved on Monday night, the Indians were not able to keep up with the Tipton Blue Devils, as they were defeated 10-0.
“They were a really nice team,” Wilson said. “They were really good and they had really good passing. They were really aggressive. I thought we worked hard – our effort was definitely better – especially in the second half. We went out there and we worked really hard. They were an aggressive team, so it took us a half to [match their intensity.]”
The Indians are right back at it on Tuesday, and Wilson believes that if her team keeps their focus heading into their match against Wapahani, the result will be much more favorable.
“[I] talked to the girls about moving forward from this game and [taking] things we learned from this game into [Tuesday,] Wilson said. “If we keep our effort where it was and work hard, I think our outcome will be better [on Tuesday.]”
