Jared Adkins hit a two-run single to make it a 4-3 contest in the fourth inning, but No. 19 IU Southeast scored the final seven runs of the game to defeat the Taylor Trojans 11-3 on Wednesday night.

However, IU Southeast cruised the rest of the way, taking advantage of a couple of TU errors for three runs in the sixth inning and tacking on insurance runs in the final two innings to secure the victory.

The Trojans collected seven hit and six walks, but left 10 men on base in the loss. Along with that, Taylor pitchers combined for 14 strikeouts, but gave up three home runs.
