In their 2020 opener on Saturday afternoon, the Taylor Trojans suffered a road defeat, falling to Kalamazoo College by a score of 18-9.
Kalamozoo took a 6-1 lead in the first half and never trailed, building a 12-3 halftime advantage. They added six more goals in the second half, while outshooting the Trojans 59-30 in the contest.
Alex Blum scored five goals in his Trojan debut, while Grant Gerig and Ian McClain each finished with two goals.
Emmit Wintek led TU with eight ground balls, while Nathan Sahly and Teegan Heinger each collected seven.
