Wildcats back in win column with sweep of Madonna

After losing their first match of the season to conference foe Marian back on October 2, the IWU Wildcats returned to their winning ways on Friday evening, sweeping Madonna University in straight sets (25-22, 25-23, 25-10). 

“I am so proud of these girls fighting off an aggressive Madonna team in the first two sets,” IWU Head Coach Candace Moats said. “The third set was a tremendous performance as [we] played fearless, aggressive and together.”

Marci Miller led the IWU offense with 11 kills, while Kelly Miller finished with 10 terminations.

For the match, IWU recorded a .274 attacking percentage, while holding the Knights to a paltry .130.
