On Tuesday evening, the IWU Wildcats kept rolling, earning their 23rd overall victory and their 13th league triumph with a 97-64 rout of the Huntington Foresters.
IWU dominated the first half, building a 48-22 halftime lead and never relinquishing it. They knocked down six of their first 13 threes, and finished the half shooting 18-of-32 from the field. Seth Maxwell scored 12 of his team-leading 18 points in the first 20 minutes.
Freshman forward Tim Adetukasi played one of his best games in a Wildcat uniform, collecting a career-high 16 points to go along with eight rebounds.
Fellow freshman guard Noah Smith finished the game with six points, eight rebounds, and 10 assists, a new career-high, while holding Huntington leader scorer Konner Platt to just eight points.
