Wildcats sweep Bethel in Crossroads League Quarterfinals

On Saturday afternoon, the No. 4 IWU Wildcats made quick work of the Bethel Pilots in the Crossroads League Quarterfinals, coming away with a three-set sweep (25-10, 25-13, 25-17).

IWU finished with a .396 hitting percentage in the contest, while holding the Pilots to a paltry .025.

“The tournament is a new season and we are proud of how our girls came out and fought this afternoon,” IWU Head Coach Candane Moats said. “Each opponent we face is bringing their best and we have to continue to work hard and take care of business.”

Marci Miller led the IWU offense with 11 kills, while Rachel Klitzing collected nine.

Alex Falcone put together a strong, all-around performance, recording 42 assists, three kills, and two aces with no errors.
