On Saturday afternoon, the No. 3 IWU Wildcats picked up their 22nd victory of the season, sweeping the IU Kokomo in straight sets (25-18, 25-19, 25-18).
“I loved the team effort tonight as this team continues to battle each opponent,” IWU Head Coach Candace Moats said.
IWU’s defense played a big factor in the win, holding the Cougars to a .121 attacking percentage, while Marci Miller led the IWU offense with 10 kills.
As a whole, the Wildcats recorded a .210 attack percentage, while also collecting five aces in the victory
