Wildcats win ninth straight, sweep Bethel

On Friday night, IWU’s win streak hit nine matches as they earned a season sweep over Bethel with a 3-0 win (25-9, 25-18, 25-16).

Bethel’s nine points in the first set was the lowest allowed by the IWU defense all season.

“I am continually impressed with the girl’s focus,” IWU Head Coach Candace Moats said. “They are sticking together and chasing their goals. It is a privilege to be their coach.”

IWU was strong offensively all evening, recording 46 kills while holding the Pilots to just 23. Ana Collar led the Wildcats with 10 terminations.

Alex Falcone finished with 33 assists, and has netted 30 or more assists in every conference match this season.
