Wildcats win sixth straight, rout Spring Arbor on road

On Saturday, the IWU Wildcats picked up their fourth conference victory and their sixth straight triumph, defeating the Spring Arbor Cougars by a score of 78-58.

With the victory, the Wildcats recorded their seventh win of 20 or more points this season.

The Wildcats’ defense set the tone, recording 25 turnovers, 15 of which came in the first half. On those 25 turnovers, IWU scored 28 points.

Dayton Groninger shot five-of-six in the first half, scoring 12 points, and finished the game with a team-high 21 points, missing just two shots.

IWU also collected 28 points from their bench, with 13 coming from Adrianna Trexler.
